Frequently Asked Questions
Research Use Only (RUO) Peptides & Compounds
GENERAL & RESEARCH USE ONLY
What is Ivory Compounds?
Ivory Compounds is a supplier of research-use-only (RUO) peptides and compounds for qualified laboratory researchers. We do not sell products for human or animal use, consumption, or administration of any kind.
Are your products approved by the FDA?
No. Our products have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for any human or veterinary application. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Can I use these products on myself or an animal?
No. All products sold by Ivory Compounds are strictly for laboratory research use only. They are not for human consumption, injection, ingestion, inhalation, or topical use, and not for veterinary or animal use under any circumstances.
Do you provide dosing instructions or usage guidance?
No. Ivory Compounds does not provide dosing information, reconstitution instructions, administration protocols, or usage guidance of any kind, regardless of how the request is framed. Any reference to scientific literature on our site is provided for educational and research context only.
Who can purchase from Ivory Compounds?
You must be at least 21 years of age and purchasing solely for legitimate laboratory research conducted by a qualified individual or institution in an appropriate laboratory setting. See our full [Terms & Conditions] for details.
QUALITY & TESTING
Are your products third-party tested?
Yes. Every production lot is independently tested by a U.S. ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory prior to release. ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, meaning our testing partner’s methods, equipment, and procedures are externally audited and validated — not simply self-reported.
What purity standard do you test to?
Our products are tested to a purity standard of >99% via high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
Yes. A Certificate of Analysis is available for our products upon request. All specifications and testing data are provided strictly for research reference; batch-to-batch variation may occur.
Why does ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation matter?
Testing labs that are not independently accredited are not subject to external audit of their methods – meaning claims like “sterility tested” or “purity verified” may not follow a validated, reproducible protocol. ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation means the laboratory’s procedures, calibration, and controls are independently verified, giving researchers a higher degree of confidence in the results.
RESEARCH MATERIALS & HANDLING
What are research peptides?
Research peptides are short chains of amino acids intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical applications. They are not approved for human or animal use.
How will my order arrive?
Materials arrive as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in sealed vials, packed with protective layers to guard against damage and temperature fluctuation during transit.
Do you provide reconstitution, dosing, or usage instructions?
No. Ivory Compounds does not provide reconstitution ratios, dosing information, administration protocols, or usage guidance under any circumstances, regardless of how the request is framed. This determination is solely the responsibility of the qualified researcher conducting the work.
ORDERING & ELIGIBILITY
Do I need to create an account to order?
Certain features of the site may require an account. You’ll need to provide accurate registration information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Can Ivory Compounds refuse or cancel my order?
Yes. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or terminate any order at our sole discretion — for example, if we suspect misuse, fraud, resale to unauthorized parties, or a violation of our Research Use Only Policy. We may also request proof of research or institutional affiliation before fulfilling an order.
Do you verify identity or research affiliation?
We reserve the right to request additional documentation, including proof of research or institutional affiliation, and to require identity or signature verification on select orders as part of our fraud-prevention process.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
We’ll make reasonable efforts to accommodate a modification or cancellation request if you contact us right away, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed or shipped.
SHIPPING
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States only. We do not offer international shipping at this time, and we do not ship to P.O. boxes.
How fast do you ship?
Orders placed Monday through Friday ship within 24 hours of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Who is responsible for my package once it ships?
Title and risk of loss transfer to you once the package is tendered to the shipping carrier. Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, responsibility for that package transfers to you – claims for packages reported lost or stolen after confirmed delivery must be filed with the carrier directly.
What if my package arrives to the wrong address?
You’re responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. Orders shipped to an incorrectly entered address are not eligible for refund or replacement.
RETURNS, REFUNDS & DAMAGE CLAIMS
Can I return a product if I change my mind?
No. Due to the regulated and sensitive nature of research materials, all sales are final. Opened, used, or altered products are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances.
What if my order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective?
Contact us at support@ivorycompounds.com within 24 hours of the carrier’s confirmed delivery date. This window is strictly enforced. To process your claim, reach out with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos documenting the problem – full documentation requirements are outlined in our Shipping & Returns Policy.
What do I get if my claim is approved?
Verified claims are resolved at our sole discretion with store credit or a replacement of the affected item. We do not issue cash refunds.
PAYMENT & ACCOUNT SECURITY
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept ACH bank transfer and Zelle. Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely, and we do not store your full bank account or transfer credentials.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. See our full [Privacy Policy] for details on what we collect and how it’s used.
