Characterized by a laboratory with no stake in the result.

Ivory Compounds LLC supplies research-use-only compounds to laboratories, research institutions and qualified researchers. No lot is listed for sale until an accredited third-party laboratory has tested it against a written specification and the certificate for that lot has been published.

Before a lot is listed

Tested, published, then listed.

Every lot takes the same route. Material is received and held. Samples are sent to an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory in the United States, which runs eight assays against a written release specification.

The results return as a certificate tied to that lot code. The certificate is published to the public library and entered in the release log, dated. Only then does the lot enter available inventory.

The order matters as much as the panel. A certificate issued at any point before delivery establishes that testing was done. A certificate published before the lot was available to buy establishes when.

Receiving, storage, testing coordination and dispatch run from a single facility on Long Island, New York, which keeps traceability intact from arrival to shipment.

Why it matters

Bad inputs don’t just waste material. They waste findings.

A great deal of published research fails to replicate, and a meaningful share of it traces back to what went into the experiment rather than how it was run. Material that isn’t properly characterized doesn’t announce itself. It doesn’t look wrong in the vial. It just quietly moves the result.

An unlabeled impurity, a vial holding eighty percent of what the label claims, a compound that dissolves but doesn’t stay in solution — none of these produce an error message. They produce a number. And the number gets written down.

That is the problem we exist to remove. Every lot characterized before it is sold, against a written specification, by a laboratory with no stake in the outcome. The certificate goes up whether the numbers flatter us or not, because a certificate that surfaces only when the numbers are favorable is a marketing document.

Not because it makes a better product. Because unverified inputs make unreliable science.

Material that cannot be fully characterized is not material we will offer for sale.

The rules we don’t bend.

Eight assays cover every lot — identity, purity, net weight, sterility, endotoxins, heavy metals, a fentanyl screen and a batch conformity review. How we handle those results matters as much as running them.

We don’t grade our own work

Testing is done by independent ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories in the United States, none of which has a commercial interest in the result. We don’t run our own assays and report our own scores.

Published, not available on request

Every certificate goes into the public COA library, searchable by lot. The complete result for any lot can be reviewed before an order is placed — no form, no email, no account.

The certificate belongs to the lot, not the product

The lot code on the vial resolves to the paperwork for that lot and no other. A product-level certificate records what a different batch did on a different day.

Results are posted before the box leaves

The release log is dated and public. Nothing ships ahead of its paperwork, and nothing is listed as in stock until its lot has cleared.

The whole lot has to hold, not just the sample

Conformity verification compares three or more vials drawn from the same lot. A result describing only the one vial a laboratory happened to open is not a result about the rest of the lot.

Every result names its method

HPLC, ICP–MS, USP , DNA-based sterility screening. A result without a method is a claim, and a limit without a figure is a slogan. Both appear on every certificate.

A short list of things we won’t do.

Most of what separates suppliers in this category isn’t what they offer. It’s what they’re willing to leave out of the description.

Pass along someone else’s certificate

An incoming document from a manufacturer records what the manufacturer states it produced. We test what actually arrived, at our own cost, before the lot is listed.

Sell a blend we can’t characterize component by component

If the assay can’t resolve what’s in the vial and in what amount, the vial doesn’t go on the shelf.

Write around what research-use-only means

Product pages carry identity, purity and batch data — what a researcher needs to evaluate the material. They don’t carry dosing tables, administration guidance, or language written to be read between the lines.

Put a ticket queue between a question and an answer

Technical questions are answered by someone with access to the underlying records, not by a scripted first line of support.

Where we are

Shipping, support and who you reach.

Orders ship from Long Island, New York. Every lot is traceable in the COA library: the lot code on the vial resolves to the certificate for that lot, which stays published and searchable after the order has shipped.

Most in-stock orders leave within 24 hours and arrive in approximately two business days via FedEx or UPS.

Questions about a lot, a method or a release limit reach a person, not an automated system. The same people who handle the lots answer the phone, so an answer comes from the record itself rather than from a script. Text or email, whichever suits.
